Maker Monday - Beep the Robot by Storyland Amis!

Welcome to the first installment of "Maker Monday"! For awhile, I've wanted to take more time to seek out patterns from other designers that will either teach me something new, push my boundaries, or are just super cute. So when I saw this jumbo robot from @storyland_amis, honestly it fit all my criteria!

Here's why I love it! I don't usually do large amigurumi with lots of parts because I get very impatient but this was too cute to pass up. I worked slowly through all the different parts and even tried my first rectangle crochet shape! Y'all... It didn't go as well as I hoped haha. My rectangle looked like a puffed oval (my fault!) so I had to add some extra shaping around the head. The instructions were very clear, this is just a weakness of mine.

BUT overall I'm super happy with my Beep the Robot and although it took me like 5+ hrs, it was such a worthwhile experience to try. 😂 Now's a great time to expand my knowledge, try some new things, and learn from other designers! What do y'all think? 🤖🤖🤖
